Reconfigurable Systems Research

The Reconfigurable Systems Research Group at Olin is fearlessly led by Mark L. Chang. The work in the lab focuses on FPGAs (Field Programmable Gate Arrays), which are hardware devices that can be programmed to implement almost any complex digital circuit. Mark's interests include application design for FPGAs, FPGA arithmetic, FPGA architectures, and computer-aided design tools. Mark is a firm believer that FPGAs will someday rule the electronics world.

Here you will find links to past and current research, student projects, and documents related to FPGA research.

If you are a student at Olin and are interested in working with FPGAs, please contact Mark. He has a bunch of cool hardware that needs tinkering with!
